Autograph II

The newest in Digital lens technology is Autograph II lenses. These lenses are digitally surfaced to incorporate all elements of your prescription to fit your daily needs. The lenses are much different from traditional Progressive lenses which were the foundation of lens technology before today.

The manufacturing process of Digital Progressive lenses is computerized and you prescription is placed on the back of the lens to bring the design closer to your eye and provide you with a larger reading and intermediate area as well as maintaining crisp, clear vision at every angle of the lens. Previously, Traditional lenses had the progressive portion of the lens on the front of the lens, and due to the manufacturing process, the design was further from your eye and created a pin hole effect, which made you accommodate for your lenses by needing to turn your head.

With the new advancements the need to adjust for your lenses is becoming obsolete. Your lenses should accommodate you and you should not have to adapt to your lenses. With Digital Progressive lenses, your lenses are re-calibrated at every angle to provide you with crisp clear vision from every angle. Analogy

If we look at DVD’s or MP3’s, it is a digital stream that is fed onto a disc or a drive. The technology used helps to preserve the integrity of the copy you receive.
